How it started

Over twenty years ago as the Director of the Lone Star Investment Pool our clients kept requesting we provide the Public Funds Investment Training they were mandated to receive.  I was less than enthusiastic about taking on the prospect of doing an 8 hour training but my first several trainings received a positive response from the participants.  I also learned from those early trainings that participants overwhelmingly viewed the Public Funds Investment Training they received as boring, tedious and irrelevant. This led me to continue to work over the years to improve the training I provided to make it more engaging, timely and practical.  I keep working to improve the Public Funds Investment Act training I do year after year and enjoy the challenge of providing a value added training to my clients.
